Supreme Court Ruling and HFD

by Administrator 7. July 2009 01:49

The Supreme Court's recent ruling that white fire fighters in Connecticut were discriminated against may not impact the Houston Fire Department at all. The ruling basically said that the conditions of the test could not change after its administration just because a certain ethnic group did not pass.

In the Houston case, several fire fighters are suing because they believe that the testing is disparaging for ethnic minorities. Unfortunately, this particular aspect of the Connecticut case was not addressed by the Supreme Court, leaving it up in the air.

If you believe that you have been discriminated against, contact the Houston employment attorneys of the Ross Law Group at 800-634-8042.
