Former Judge Sentenced to Prison

by Administrator 12. May 2009 03:42

US District Judge Samuel Kent has been sentenced to 33 months in prison. He had been investigated for sexual harassment of court employees and lied to the investigators. He may also be impeached in the near future.

Kent may be going to prison for obstruction of justice, but the issue began as a sexual harassment claim. Since lying to the investigators, Kent has admitted to sexually advancing himself on two court employees between 2003 and 2007.

If you or someone you know has been sexually harassed at work, contact the Houston employment attorneys of the Ross Law Group at 800-634-8042.
