Federal Discrimination Case Involves Deceased Defendant

by Administrator 19. May 2009 03:01

Former Harris County Constable Glen Cheek died of cancer in 2007. Now, a lawsuit claims that he openly discriminated against all female employees of the county.

The woman who has brought the case to trial claims that Cheek referred to women using derogatory terms, forced female employees to do his personal shopping and didn't properly promote them. The case began Monday afternoon.

If you or someone you know has been discriminated against in the workplace, contact the Houston employment attorneys of the Ross Law Group at 800-634-8042.
