Discrimination in HFD

by Administrator 2. June 2009 02:52

Tensions have been high surrounding the Houston Fire Department and racial discrimination since a noose was found in a fire captain's locker earlier this year. Those tensions came to a head recently at City Hall.

On Wednesday, May 27, an off duty HPD officer brought the noose into City Hall and asked council members to do something about the discrimination in the fire department. The HFD has since implemented a zero tolerance party for any discrimination.

If you have been discriminated against in your work place, contact the Houston employment attorneys of the Ross Law Group at 800-634-8042.
