An investigation into sexual harrassment charges against associate athletic director, Cleve Bryant, showed that other athletic supervisors did not know of the allegations beforehand.
According to records into the case, the young woman, who worked under Bryant as an administrative assitant, received inappropriate text messages and comments, touching and a kiss over a two year period before she reported Bryant because she feared she would lose her job.
Bryant was fired last March and it has been stated now that other supervisors were unaware that this was happening. Other colleagues were told by the woman, but she instructed them to keep it confidential, so the other colleagues did not inform their superiors. Last year, the university paid $400,000 to the woman who filed the complaint.
