Dismissed Employee awarded $253K

by Administrator 26. May 2009 02:20

A former employee of Harris County Precinct 5 was awarded $253,000 in a sexual harassment case on Monday night. The former employee had filed three lawsuits, one against her deceased former employer.

While the jury did not find her to have been wrongfully terminated, they did find that she had been sexually harassed by a sitting captain. For that reason, they awarded her the $253,000.
