Unprofessional behavior is any behavior that aims to bring productivity, relationships, and professionalism down in the workplace, whether intentional or unintentional.

Employers may sometimes bring much attention to his or herself, bring his or her personal life into the workplace, start rumors, take non-threatening conversations and make them threatening, take a benign conversation and make it personal, blackmail or intimidate employees, or threaten to use his or her credentials or reputation to terminate an employee.
